3. Remove new test strip

from vial. Be sure to

tightly replace vial cap

after removing test strip.

4. Within 3 minutes, insert

test strip into test strip slot

with silver-coloured bars

facing up and toward the

meter.

The meter turns on

automatically.

Check that the code

number on the meter

matches the code on

the vial of test strips

you are using.

When the blood drop

symbol flashes, you are

ready to perform a test.
