The Time 2 setting is followed by the Time 3 setting.
If you wish to set Time 3, proceed as described for Time 1.
The setting for Time 3 is followed by the hypo warning setting.
If you do not wish to enter a hypo warning, press the Test button to
turn the meter off.
The beep tone for the alarm clock function sounds for 20 seconds. To
stop the beep tone press any button (Test, M or S).
Your test reminder time settings remain saved, even if you turn the
alarm clock function off altogether (
OFF).
24-hour-
format
12-hour-
format
You can turn off individual times for the alarm clock function by setting
the time to 0:00 (24-hour format) or 12:00 a.m. (12-hour format). Any
other time means that the alarm clock function is turned on for this
time.
To set the alarm clock function for midnight you must therefore set the
time to one minute to midnight (23:59 or 11:59 p.m.) or to one minute
after midnight (0:01 or 12:01 a.m.).
3.7 Setting the hypo warning
To help you to recognize an impending hypo, you can set a warning
threshold. There are three threshold options. If your blood glucose result
is below the threshold you have chosen, the warning hypo? appears in
the display together with the result. If the beep tone is turned on (On 1),
the meter also beeps.
i
You cannot set the hypo warning if you have turned Acoustic
Mode on (On 2). This is to prevent it from being confused with
other beep tones. If you have already set a threshold, the hypo
warning is automatically turned off if you subsequently turn
Acoustic Mode on.
