appears…
and means:
(cont.) You bent the test strip while applying
blood or control solution, or during
measurement.
Turn the meter off and on again. Re-
peat the test with a new test strip.
You turned the meter off and on
again. The old test strip is still in the
meter.
Hold the meter upright so the test
strip is pointing downwards. Press
the Test button to turn the meter off
and allow the test strip to drop out.
If the test strip does not drop out,
remove it manually, even if you feel
some resistance.
This message/symbol

(cont.) You pulled the test strip out of the
meter before applying blood or con-
trol solution to the strip.
Press the Test button to turn the
meter off and then on again. Repeat
the test with a new test strip. Always
remove the test strip by pressing the
Test button to turn the meter off.
The test strip that was advanced is
defective.
Hold the meter upright so the test
strip is pointing downwards. Press
the Test button to turn the meter off
and allow the test strip to drop out.
Press the Test button to turn the
meter on again and repeat the test.
