appears…

and means:

 (cont.)  There is condensation in the meter.

 Press the Test button to turn the

meter off. Leave it to dry at room

temperature.

 The batteries are empty or a meter

error has occurred.

 Press the Test button to turn the

meter off and then on again. If the

error message appears again, the

batteries may be empty. Insert new

batteries. If you see the error mes-

sage again when you next turn the

meter on, please contact the

Accu-Chek customer care line (see

Chapter 14 “Local customer support

and service”).

This message/symbol

appears…

and means:

 You pulled the test strip out of the

meter during testing.

 Press the Test button to turn the

meter off and then on again. Repeat

the test with a new test strip. Always

remove the test strip by pressing the

Test button to turn the meter off.
